Martial Arts

Kajukenbo is a street fighting style that consists of Korean Karate, Judo/Jujitsu, Kenpo, and Chinese Boxing (Kung Fu). It originated in Hawaii during the World War II and the locals needed to defend themselves against the drunk soldiers who were stationed there.

I have a second degree black belt and sixteen (16) years of experience in a mixed martial arts style called Kajukenbo. I still currently train and practice in Kajukenbo. We have classes Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

I also have a "fan" page on Facebook. Do you care to join it? Please do as you will get to see photos uploaded to it from random class photos to tournaments and other updates.

Are you interested in learning how to defend yourself? Please contact me for info! While I do not teach regularly, I'm open-minded to teaching one-on-one, and small groups. Of course, you are welcome to join us and learn in a group class setting at the YMCA.
